Looking for filter mount thread converter ?

I want to convert a 3/4-16 threaded mount to use a 5/8-18 filter . Where do I find an adapter nipple ? - thanks

I am not aware of such an adapter, but I do have one question. Why would you want to switch to such an odd threaded filter? The 3/4x16 size is 10 times more available, and in lots more sizes.

Even if someone did make such a beast the wall thickness would be soo thin I would not use it to hold an oil filter. Reminds me of that Moly Hatchet song flirting with disaster.

Maybe you were thinking of my post? I 'made' an adaptor to go from M20x1.5 to 3/4x16 out of a Jeep part. Info is here .
