Has anyone done a hpl green atf voa?
I am trying to decide to go either hpl green or RL D6 and it is closer to Toyota WS, has a lower pour point and higher viscosity index that hpl green.

Also I had great success with RL D6 in my Toyota vehicles. Why HPL green? Green CC is more similar to D6 spec sheet wise.

What is the recommendation?

How can one determine from a VOA as to whether HPL Green or RL D6 covers Toyota WS?

Each blender gets their base oils and additive packages from reputable manfacturers.

The additive manufacturers specify to the blenders which base oils and additive packages fulfill the performance requirements which results in the blenders published coverage as to the 'suitable' coverage for each transmission.

I learned the hard way when you stray from the original equipment fluid.
These transmissions now have adaptive learning.
When you change the fluid to something else it makes the transmission shift like 💩
I will never do that again.

I've never had an issue with this in any of my cars / trucks. I've used Mobil 1 transmission fluid as well as Driven Racing transmission fluid with "0" issues.

I used Amsoil's low viscosity ATF.
Maybe it's just an Amsoil thing I don't know.
My transmissions from now on will get what the vehicle came with.

The 6F35 in my wife's Fusion absolutely hates Fords Mercon LV. I've run Amsoil in it for about 150k mi of its 185k mi life & it likes it. Will also say that it did just fine on whatever Castrol ATF my friends shop used during a flush a while back. The Ford fluid wouldn't last 10k mi before shifting quality began to deteriorate.
