I love the locking ones. I have an inexpensive set that I picked up at HF several years ago now. Granted I don't use them all the time but they have worked flawlessly.
Craftsman was bought by Stanley Black and Decker. They have a 15 year agreement from 2017 to let Craftsman operate as a separate entity doing what Craftsman does.
I run the plugs down by hand using a rubber plug installer then torque them with a regular 6 point socket.
I use the plug socket with insert to remove only.
Otherwise, painter's tape works as well.

Good luck.
Thanks. Still haven't gotten around to check out other CDN Tire stores or Princess Auto yet, but hope to tomorrow.
Like I mentioned earlier, the less fussing around with other things, the better for me, but if I have no luck tracking down some lockable extensions, then I'll certainly look into other options.
Same here, bought a set of various length from HF. Forget how much it was but it wasn't expensive. Bought for the sole purpose of changing the plugs on my Accord, haven't needed it for anything else. Tape didn't work for me, not strong enough. PLugs are about due on the Sienna so may need to break them out soon.
