Liver: chicken and beef and others. Do you like them?

Mom cooked good liver and onions when I was growing up but IMO, it was in all how she cooked it, After loosing mom a few years ago I doubt I will ever eat that dish again.

I like KFC fried chicken livers but it MUST be hot, just cooked!

Growing up living in Carolina fried livermush be it with eggs for breakfast or a sandwich ( with Duke's Mayo / cheese and or Plochman's mild mustard ) has been a big part of many a fantastic night snack!

Social media will suggest the Carolina South is in a panic after the over 100 year old Greensboro NC based Neese's Liver pudding has vanished from stores the last few months...

Neese's is the ONLY choice when it comes to liver mush products, IF you know you know and if you don't you don't live in the South...

The way my mom cooked them? NWIH. No Mom, they're still as tough as the sole of my shoe and catsup doesn't make it taste better.
I love chopped liver from a Deli on a sandwich. My wife can make some stir-fryee things with both beef and chicken liver that are pretty good too. She'll cook pork liver which, once I got over some initial OMG thoughts, are pretty good.
