LM was never on my radar but recently have been buying parts on the whim - and LM gear , atf, etc came on my radar as easy -next day delivery- options.

Generally for all things diff, I tend to go with Amsoil SVG.
For atf, or transfer case, I generally stick with OE/OEM equivalents.

With that said, what are you thoughts on the Liqui Moly lineup for all things gearcase/atf, etc

I've only tried the LM MoS2 additive and love it. I personally think it is one of the few additives out there that work and the cost is very good compared to other additives!

Never had an issue, I was buying the 5/40 by the drum when it was on sale for a while. Some people will point out some issues with it on a few analyses, but overall its a high quality product. Use without fear.

I use their 85W-90 gear oil when needed for ether MB or Land Crusier differentials, where the SAE 90 is specified

I use the 235.0 85w90 my Benz specs as well in the rear diff, seems fine every 50k I drain and fill it

Good stuff! A friend in Germany told me that they are overpriced for cost benefit. But, if it meets the spec. You will be fine.

Its the MoS2 in the tube? have it in the front and rear differentials of my truck mixed with Delvac 75w90 syn GL5. It looked similar to the LM 2009 but more concentrated with less carrier oil.

15k miles and no problems. Assume like the 2009 product it its acts as a dry lubricant before an oil film is established.

I have used their gear oil in my BMW rear differential on multiple changes. Bottle has an extendable spout if you don't have a hand pump.

There is nothing wrong with LM

Their GL4 MTF part number 20012 is the cheapest synthetic GL4 that is usable as an MTF
