I used Amsoil in the 1970s and 80s but I realized the top tier oils at Walmart allowed engine life beyond my ownership of the vehicle. That said Amsoil's products are with out doubt excellent.

I find the more knowledgeable you become of oils the more you appreciate a boutique oil like Amsoil. The question becomes do you need a superior oil? If not there’s plenty of majority group 3 cookie cutter, pre approved packaged oils at Wally.
