I adore females. Prefer their company over that of scrungy males.
But, I must admit there are a few aspects of the wimmenfolk that forces me to believe in the "old fashioned" belief that those wimmen' should remain in their "place".
Huh? What's this guy yapping about.... I can hear the audience mumbling.
Well, all I have is my own experience, observations, and those of others relayed to me via various mediums.
Today, on the Click and Clack radio show, another report of the female continuing to drive when the red idiot light indicating low oil level lights up. So many times I have heard of females doing this.
During my wrecking yard career years a fairly regular event was the downcast male inquiring as to the cost of a replacement engine...... after the female had continued to drive when the idiot light shone. So many times!!!!!
I teach school.... a substitute teacher since there are hundreds of applicants for every opening. Hey!!!!! Corporate America has layed-off millions of workers the last decade...... those workers had to go somewhere. Oh well. At least the elite classes are doing very well and that is all that counts. Ahem...... anyway......
When I teach I try to convey actual useful knowledge along with the propaganda I am required to convey. And, the kids love me!!!!! Mostly high schoolers. When I see the kids out and about the vast majority shout out asking when I will be teaching them again.
I teach at 5 different schools and the kids know the refrain.... enough that they tell ME what I used to tell them....
"Wear your seatbelt!!!!!" "Don't dive in water you are unsure of the depth of." "Don't drink but if you do.... sleep in the back seat until sober and NEVER ride with a drunk."
All sorts of stuff!!!!! How to do the Heimlich maneuver and how to signal to others if YOU are choking.
A thousand different tid bits of actual useful knowledge. Including......
Check your tire pressure!!!! Check your oil!!!! Know how to change a tire!!!! I also tell of the consequences of not doing or knowing.... being stranded and having to rely on others, wasting time, maybe even being in danger.
I also state to NOT ignore those idiot lights!!!!!
During conversations I ask the students if others.... other teachers, parents, friends, etc. share the info with them that I do. Very very few declare they have heard my advice elsewhere, the majority saying they were unaware of the info I convey.
How sad.
My advice can save time, money, even lives!!!!!
Where are those overpaif bureaucrats creating the curriculum that advances multi-culturalism and political correctness? They are ignoring REALITY!!!!
Where are the parents? Who is teaching those kids!!!!!
Sadly, I could get in trouble for sharing common sense advice that will stand those kids in good stead as they grow and go out on their own. I am supposed to ensure the kids can spew out rote memorized drivel so as to pass standardized tests in order to make bureaucrats look good.
