Im not sure of the purpose of your posts. You're knocking MG lifetime warranty with no factual information other than your personal speculation.
Not sure of the reason, if the public demand was not so strong for Chinese EVs the E/U powers that be would not be worried about their auto industry getting clobbered by the Chinese imports. After all no one would want that junk right?
Same goes for the USA who literally instituted a de-facto outright ban on Chinese EVs coming to our shores which forces the American consumer to pay more. Kind of ironic, they then turn around and give the USA manufacturers $7,500 of taxpayer money. for every vehicle they sell.
I operate on facts. The facts may not be entirely relevant, but given that other companies have executed their warranties, they are what is called "probabtive evidence" regarding the warrant this MG will provide.
American education treats any testimony as "speculation" with no assessment of credibility. You attack my integrity and credibility by dismissing it as speculation. Indeed, you even dismiss actual deaths of people using bad Iphone chargers, as "speculation".

I've dealt with "lifetime warranties". Advance Auto's, Autozone's. Advance's is exactly the type of warranty designed to not be honored. Mainly because the failure necessary to obtain a replacement will not happen. That being a starter completely fails to spin on their bench setup. Well, if the solenoid fails or the brushes are still making marginal contact, then the warranty has grounds for denial even if you car is toast. Then in the time of crisis, you're either buying another there or you're ubering to Autozone, NAPA, or the dealer out of spite.
Autozone is a no question asked, we'll give you brake pads for any reason warranty. That's the good type. Just used it last month
I also would trust Toyota's 1 year, 12,000 mile warranty over many "lifetime" ones. That's because though the warranty is shorter and their parts more expensive, their parts work for a greater period of time and/or uses. I'm now on a reman'd OEM starter under the pretense that they won't trouble me until 5-7 years down the line, maybe more.
In addition, numerous Chinese products made by their own and no outside control have existed on the U.S market in many different fields. You can pick Pittsburgh tools from Harbor Freight or some cheap utensils or appliances from Walmart, or the aformentioned Ebay Apple chargers.
