This filter came off of a 2010 ram 2500 6.7 approximately 5k miles on filter using napa 15w40 185k on the truck

I was thinking there were a lot of globs of glue visible between the pleats-better not have any of those on the inside that could break loose & clog a piston oil cooler jet. Never ceases to amaze me, $50 grand truck, cheapo filter-Champion Labs builds some great filters, wouldn't consider this one a great one.

There isn't any glue on the inside just around the pleats and when you change the oil and filter every 2 months it makes sense to use whatever is on sale and with almost 190k on the clock it's hardly a 50k dollar truck it's a beat up from the street up work truck

This one looks better than the WIX you recently posted. Perhaps the WIX's wave was from the water in the filter like you said so in all fairness, it might not be a good comparison.

I don't know people's problem with the Champ filter. If there wasn't enough glue people would be complaining. Personally, I like to see a good amount of glue on the end of the pleats. That looks like a solid filter to me.

I personally like champ filters (minus the ecore versions ) I've used a good amount of them and they haven't had any problems I trust them plus I got this on for 2$ off rock auto so I can't complain it definitely did it's job

I like wix too but not my truck not my problem lol I have too much money invested in my personal stash of filters and oil
