Lexus vehicles & Breakin Oil

I bought a new ES350 and was curious if they come with some special break-in oil. Could I do an early oil change say 2000 miles on the odo instead what is detailed in the manual to wait until 5000 miles before the oil change.?

I would like to do 2 oil changes with dino until 6K miles and then switch to synthetic.

You can do an early oil change. It won't hurt anything. It probably won't help either, but if it makes you feel any better, go for it.

What's the point of using mineral though? Don't these engines ship from the factory with synthetic oil in them nowadays?

I would run the factory fill until around 3 - 4000 miles then switch to a synthetic of your choice.

Some new vehicles come with synthetic oil as the factory fill from the factory.

I ave been doing this for years and years.

Do what it says in the manual and then switch to synthetic and have a nice day.
