Heineken? F that S! Pabst BLUE RIBBON!

Just tried one of the Heinekin mini-kegs from the grocery store. Normally I stay away from heinie but out of the little keg it was pretty darn tasty.

While I haven't had a draft Heineken in a while, I'll agree that it's better than the bottled version. The stuff sold in the green bottles is usually skunked and nasty.

current six pack in the fridge is deschutes mirror pond pale ale. it has great hop bitterness up front that doesn't linger. just slightly more bitter then sierra nevada pale with just a little less mouth feel.

word..... I don't know how anyone can drink that stuff.

Their Alpha King tastes exactly like (raw) carrots to me. Not really my thing. Sierra Nevada has a beer that better represents the APA style, but that's certainly just my opinion. You can usually get Sierra Nevada's APA pretty cheap in the stores as far as things go; a case is about $15.00 over here.

Here in Kansas City we have a pixxa Joint, that is unique in that it serves St Louis style cracker crust pizza, and Retro beers CHEAP.

My favorite retro beer is Old Style. On the can it says brewed by Heilman Co. Does anyone know if this is still the original ownership. $1.50 gets you a good retro beer

and a awesome Pizza. Other retro's include Schlitz, Old milwakee, Stag, Pabst, amd until recentely Falstaff and Pearl.

I jumped right to the last page. I really don't drink, but since I'm doing major renovations on my house, my wife insisted I keep beer in the fridge for friends who come to help. No one has complained about Sam Adams Boston Lager. Boy oh boy is it good with pizza.

Just tried Bud's new Budweiser Select beer.
Low carbs and 4.3% alcohol.
Good stuff!
No harsh beer after taste.

A woman drove me to drink and I didn't even have the decency to thank her.
