Lets see the cars!!!!

Bored, hot, so I washed, vacuumed, applied Chemical Guys VRP to plastic trim inside and out, and used Turtle 🐢 Wax Spray Wax.

When life gives you $50 set of wheels with new tires - you slap them on the daily. 🫡
Or at least that's how these staggered Nissan 370Z wheels ended up on my 2009 Scion xB. 😏
Proper MexiFlush fitment 😂
Price was too good, so now I gotta own that "fitment"... wondering if some mudflaps may improve the looks a little.

Went from these^^^ 18" Nissan 370Z staggered wheels to 19" Infiniti G35 Rays wheels. Didn't realize how much lighter the Rays wheels are: the xB power is back to same levels as it was with the stock 16" Scion wheels. Nice to have it feel "light on its feet" again. And despite both setups being staggered, the G35 Rays are definitely more flush in the rear that the poking 370Z Touring wheels were. Not bad for a marketplace swap. So far this xB is on a third set of wheels in my ownership for a total cost of free.99. Can't complain.

On the next episode join me as I give the 2AZ-FE an Unequal Length Header for that Subaru boxer burble, but with Toyota Reliability. Just gave that header a full can of High Temp Clear Coat.

The Boxster S after a Winter cosmetic refresh. 25 years takes its toll on soft items and plastic despite garaging and only ~60k miles. I picked at this, but finally finished refinishing/replacing all exterior plastic trim and replacing a few interior items such as the door compartment covers/elbow rests, shift knob and factory refurbished OE radio plus a Bluetooth module. Swapped Cocomats with another car and they seem a much better match here.

And a new top. Not easy trying to find a decent upholsterer willing to do it. Nice work but 😲💲💲

This is my favorite current car, it is just so much fun to drive, and the early Boxsters remain undervalued for what they offer. Yes, there are (somewhat overblown) reasons, but they age very, very well on the whole and especially for the S it is hard to find more car in this category for ~$25K or so.

Washed at Charlies here in Kansas city area. They provide the prep, undet carriage wash, a spray polish and a heated dry.
I used the Hybrid Ceramic on some areas after using the Mothers Scratch Repair. After applied TurtleWax Spray Ceramic to entire car. Vacuumed, brief interior wipe down, plastic trim detail application and exhaust tip detail. Zero HP gains, but possibly gains in exercise and sweat 😰.

Love the floormats. We had a 2000 in that dark maroon red. Black top, it rode like a Cadillac but it never got much road time. Glad someone who owns it now drives it. We see it out maybe once a year.

This one looks wonderful! I am thinking I may end up with one of these in a few years. I'd love a late model 986 S. The wife wants another Miata and I want an FD RX-7 so this would be a good compromise between the two. They seem so undervalued as well!

Everyone I know of who has rented or driven this style really likes it. Even as mine being the base model it’s really comfortable. Much more comfortable than my Escape.
My girlfriend has a 2018 Rav 4 hybrid and it’s been a great vehicle for her and it’s very comfortable. She’s had it for a couple of years now and it hasn’t needed any repairs at all.

Might get some hate for this one but it’s not my car it is my parent’s car. 2001 Jeep Cherokee in the rare Solar Yellow color. I’ve seen about 4 of these in my life not including ours. Some guy showed up one day and offered us $800 for this the Beetle and our van and we said heck no. This one has a weird issue but some guys here and other forums have offered helpful insights on it. It overheats and shoots all the coolant out like a volcano once you shut it off. We thought head or head gasket so did 3 mechanics so replaced that with a quality head and head gasket. The head was from Clearwater Head in Clearwater Florida. Put those parts on and same issue. It has also had a radiator put in it as well after a collision. Someone told us they think we might of gotten a flawed block so most likely needs a whole engine. It was also ran overheated by my dad who won’t pull over when an issue comes up. The shop it sat at for 3 years stole the rear wiper arm and blade as well as some lug nuts. They brought it home free of charge for us once they closed up shop. I’m good friends with the guy who owned the shop. He’s now a realtor and has since opened another shop too. It has been sitting since October 2014 and was brought home in June 2017 by that shop and has sat here ever since. I’m going to try and wash it this summer. Might not get the engine put in for awhile because I’m not able to afford it right now and also it has to be good weather since it will be done right where it’s sitting.

My goal is to save up for a new engine and fix this thing and get it back to glory as well as fix our 1994 Ford Econoline too. I want to see these cars get new life and I think dad would be happy as well. Still undecided on the Beetle it needs a full restoration so thinking of letting it go because I just don’t have the means or motivation to fix it.

That was factory color?

Paint looks good too …
People who mod those out would pay good if you found the right buyer …
When it was running some guy who had one just like it flagged us down in a parking lot and offered $8K for it right then and there and my dad said no. That was probably 2013 or early 2014 right before it blew up. I think he’d of been better off taking the 8K for it then but we didn’t know this was going to happen.
