Bored, hot, so I washed, vacuumed, applied Chemical Guys VRP to plastic trim inside and out, and used Turtle
Wax Spray Wax.
Went from these^^^ 18" Nissan 370Z staggered wheels to 19" Infiniti G35 Rays wheels. Didn't realize how much lighter the Rays wheels are: the xB power is back to same levels as it was with the stock 16" Scion wheels. Nice to have it feel "light on its feet" again. And despite both setups being staggered, the G35 Rays are definitely more flush in the rear that the poking 370Z Touring wheels were. Not bad for a marketplace swap. So far this xB is on a third set of wheels in my ownership for a total cost of free.99. Can't complain. When life gives you $50 set of wheels with new tires - you slap them on the daily.
Or at least that's how these staggered Nissan 370Z wheels ended up on my 2009 Scion xB.
Proper MexiFlush fitment
Price was too good, so now I gotta own that "fitment"... wondering if some mudflaps may improve the looks a little.

Love the floormats. We had a 2000 in that dark maroon red. Black top, it rode like a Cadillac but it never got much road time. Glad someone who owns it now drives it. We see it out maybe once a year. The Boxster S after a Winter cosmetic refresh. 25 years takes its toll on soft items and plastic despite garaging and only ~60k miles. I picked at this, but finally finished refinishing/replacing all exterior plastic trim and replacing a few interior items such as the door compartment covers/elbow rests, shift knob and factory refurbished OE radio plus a Bluetooth module. Swapped Cocomats with another car and they seem a much better match here.
And a new top. Not easy trying to find a decent upholsterer willing to do it. Nice work but
This is my favorite current car, it is just so much fun to drive, and the early Boxsters remain undervalued for what they offer. Yes, there are (somewhat overblown) reasons, but they age very, very well on the whole and especially for the S it is hard to find more car in this category for ~$25K or so.

This one looks wonderful! I am thinking I may end up with one of these in a few years. I'd love a late model 986 S. The wife wants another Miata and I want an FD RX-7 so this would be a good compromise between the two. They seem so undervalued as well! The Boxster S after a Winter cosmetic refresh. 25 years takes its toll on soft items and plastic despite garaging and only ~60k miles. Everyone I know of who has rented or driven this style really likes it. Even as mine being the base model it’s really comfortable. Much more comfortable than my Escape.I had a rental RAV4 and really liked it.
My girlfriend has a 2018 Rav 4 hybrid and it’s been a great vehicle for her and it’s very comfortable. She’s had it for a couple of years now and it hasn’t needed any repairs at all.Everyone I know of who has rented or driven this style really likes it.
