How close to stock is this? I'm assuming pretty close. Yet it's giving off HARD bosozuku vibes, but in a good way. Also reminds me of the Infiniti M30, which I never see on the road anymore. I think last one I saw was around 2012...View attachment 260145

JDM 1989 Toyota Soarer GT Twin Turbo L second generation
The only thing I changed are the wheels. OEM wheels were 15x6, these are 16x7. And I added side skirts and rear spoiler, custom made but mimics the OEM optional skirts and spoiler. Everything else is stock. Yes, the Infiniti M30 was also known as the Nissan Leopard in Japan, it was the arch rival of this Toyota Soarer. The Soarer won in the sales war by almost 5:1 The Nissan Leopard is no lame duck in Japan , the 3L turbo version had over 250hp , unfortunately the US market one never came with a turbo and addition of EGR and other smog equipment brought down the US market version to 162hp, leading to it's failure. How close to stock is this? At my first job ever we had a 3.9L Gold/beige Dakota. It got torture tested daily, for years. Part runs always included a drift session or few... Scrap hauls meant it was overloaded with metal body parts and/or engines... Yet it never missed a beat. Cloth seats were quite comfy too for the longer trips/hauls.Beyond the limits of the 3.9 unless I leave it in drive, maybe I should. Seems to have less power after the timing chain replacement, but no leaks that’s a win!

What truck is that trailer / bed from? I'm guessing a 60's or early 70's Ford?Beyond the limits of the 3.9 unless I leave it in drive, maybe I should. Seems to have less power after the timing chain replacement, but no leaks that’s a win!
