He also has another 1971.
Somewhat of a tragic story. The non photoed car is currently getting stripped down for paint. It was on a tow truck and a tree limb fell on it. Insurance called it an act of god and gave dad $3.5k. Messed up quite a bit of body work. He’s getting it fully repainted by the same guys who did the orange one in the background.Let’s see some pictures of those!![]()
Any more pictures of the Z cars? Thank you?Yessir it is. Dads 1970 complete resto and 1971 l parts car in the very back.

Looks like a G60 (no bulge on the hood). I still swoon over these. Love the Corrado.Went for an evening run by the Canal and just had to park and talk to the guy who owned this beautiful, original Corrado;

I love the G60. Had one swapped into my Cabriolet with a 16V transmission.Looks like a G60 (no bulge on the hood). I still swoon over these. Love the Corrado.
Loved it too. The sound was unique and not everyone liked it. Mine was black on black........then i drove a VR6 Corrado SLC and it was all over.I love the G60. Had one swapped into my Cabriolet with a 16V transmission.
When I swapped the cab, I rebuilt, ported, and pullied the g-lader. Deleted the boost return pipe and it made all kinds of fun noises.Loved it too. The sound was unique and not everyone liked it. Mine was black on black........then i drove a VR6 Corrado SLC and it was all over.
Gonna look for those photos. Didn't have phone cameras back then so gotta look in old boxes.
Basically one of these...When I swapped the cab, I rebuilt, ported, and pullied the g-lader. Deleted the boost return pipe and it made all kinds of fun noises.
I also broke two 8V 020 transmissions and ripped the front transmission mount out of the radiator support.
What a fun car.
