That S-10 looks great, especially for PA. Looks very rust free even with the painted bumpers.

Too bad someone painted the LS trim alloy wheels, but they still look good. They probably are not the original wheels for that truck, but are OE wheels from a 2WD S-10 or Blazer.

Thanks guys! I knew something was different about those wheels. I need to get rid of those goofy graphics and pin stripes. Compounded and polished the hood out today. I believe it will turn out to be decent looking. For a beat around truck it isn't bad. 3rd and 4th synchros might be getting weak. Although I've been driving the cable driven shifter in my Jetta for a while, I might not be used to a strait stick yet.

Somehow it's always the 4 bangers that end up with the checkered flag graphics too. Someone plastered nearly the same graphic on my 2001 2.5L Ranger. I spent an afternoon peeling them off, but at least they come off easier than the 22 year old, massive factory "STX" decals on my 1994 Ranger, which make it look like a giant gas station soft drink cup (wavy 1990s design). Those come off 1 cm at a time.

Nice looking truck...I'd get it rustproofed. Those Rams are rust-buckets especially around the rear wheel wells.

Thanks! Ram fixed that with the 4 generation trucks 09+. They added a wheel well lining. The 2008 and older trucks had nothing so they rusted out. Pretty fast too, my buddy has an 08 and both sides of the bed are starting.

I think the official name is "Brilliant Black Crystal Pearl". Makes it sound fancy! lol

It had the Goodyear SRA's. They were garbage this past winter, or in rain for that matter. Could never get them to balance right.

The L77 and L76 6.0L motors have DOD; in order to make it work (the DOD specific lifters) the cam is tiny. These motors are basically an LS2 block with LS3 heads (but with different valves and springs) so they'll have decent flow if a suitable cam is used.

Ah yes, that's the proper fancy name for the paint! Mine came with the Goodyear Silent Armour tires. They are ok, but I want something beefier.

Do it. Do it. Do it. Do it. Do it. I double dog dare you.

My hooptie 2010 CVPI is getting a set of Comp Cams this summer and I am debating on long tubes. I don't know if I want to deal with broken exhaust studs.

I have had long tubes on my L9H for almost 4 years with no problems...

Headers are fine. The WS6 is a heads/cam/intake/full exhaust car. It is fine...
Bought a new daily driver...need a new daily driver...Don't want to do that to the Caprice.

I'm not going to pretend one bit that anything I buy will remain stock. My daily is my truck which has full intake, headers, full exhaust, and tuned...and waiting for either cam upgrade or supercharger, have not decided yet.
