I have never heard of or seen them refurbished. They usually all come with night sights. I bought mine from BUD'S GUNS. They all came in a black or blue S&W plastic case with each having 3 magazines, palm swells, paper work, lock, etc.
My 9mm gun buying days are over with. I much prefer the 40 caliber over 9mm any day.

In general, police trade-in pistols tend to have a lot of holster wear (finish wear, dings in the grips, etc.) but a low round count.
So, a bit ugly, but low wear.
A great bargain, nearly new internals with cosmetic blemishes that lower the price.
