I bought LC about a year or so ago, I notice now it's labelled LC20. I thought I remember reading here that it was just a label change.
But, my LC jug says 2oz per quart initial dose then something like 1-2 oz every few thousand miles. I see posts here quoting a initial dose for LC20 of 1 oz per quart? What's different?

is the definition of 'initial dose' just one time per engine, or does initial dose apply to whenever the oils completely changed?
Last 2-3 oil changes I did I put in 10 ounces LC for the 5-6 qts of fresh oil, is that right?

I'm starting to stock up on 5 qt jugs of oil so I'd like to add LC to those and not have to worry about it whenever adding oil to the car, truck, boat, lawnmower, etc.

I sent an email to LubeControl about this and they said 1oz per quart is correct. However, oil analysis will determine the very best amount to use for your specific engine. In other words, they indicated the amount used can be tweaked for maximum performance and protection.

LC was bought by LCD. They are trying to standardize the recommendations and get the bottles, literature all on the same sheet of music.

Even the tech paper authored by Molakule for Dyson Analysis had conservative recommendations as we were just discovering what Odis had for chemistry.

Generally 2 ounces LC20 per qt and then 1 to 3 ounces every 1000 miles in diesel or gas engines seems to work well.
I use analysis results to determine the optimum dosage for the customer.

Note that the product not only is a extremely effective anti oxidant it is also has an incredible capability to reduce cF.

2 very large reasons I like to use it to FINE TUNE any lubricant.

Both Auto-RX and LC/FP are so cutting edge as chemistries I cannot imagine why they haven't been gobbled up by the larger entities in automotive lubes and fuels. Under the radar to date I suppose.
