The intial dose is 1 oz per quart oil, right? Let's say my car requires 5 quarts. So I got 5 quarts oil plus 5 oz LC in there. Every 1k miles I add an additional ounce of LC. Unless I have a car that burns 1 quart oil every 1k miles, doesn't the LC concentration increase in the oil over thousands of miles? Or is LC more volatile than oil, and that's why it needs to be replenished? Just wondering if the required dose of LC should be determined by oil consumption or not.
