I'm a new owner of a *used* Honda HS-520AS Snowblower. I'm no wrench monkey but I would like to at least keep this in good condition. When I was young, my pops had this MTD snowblower which was a nightmare to start and I ended up using the shovel instead...must have spent 10+ minutes trying to get it started. I'm sure alot it it was due to maintainence.
The Honda does have an electric start but I don't forsee using it. Everyone swears it works on the 1st pull. In my stash of stuff, I've got Neutra, LC, FP and even a mix of 3:1 fp:lc .
The previous owner ran a snowplower business and is a fellow harley owner, so I'm expecting as far as maintainence, he did drain the gas every season, change the oil, etc.
Any benefits on a shock treatment with LC. FP or 131 ? Nothing too crazy as I don't plan to fill up a 5 gallon tank. This thing only takes .3 gallons so I'll just be diluting it into a 1 gallon gas container.
