Bummer, I thought you were gonna lift your mower...
I tried that for kicks and giggles last year, just to see if I could lift the front end of my Z535M. I quickly gave up on that effort. The mower weighs 630 lbs.1) bend at the knees
2) lift so the carb is facing the sky
3) lean it against something solid like a cinder block, maybe drain the oil too if you like.
4) service underside of deck
That sparked a memory. The last time I tried to do anything on a mower using ramps, it was on my old L100-series John Deere back in the mid-2010s. IIRC I was planning to change the blades, but there was some reason the ramps didn't work so I ended up removing the deck to get to the blades. It was most likely the ramps interfering with my access to the deck.I found the ramps always block the deck when I get it up high enough, I found a guy on You tube that built ramps from 2x8' and had the ramp part hinged so once you got the wheels on the top you could swing the ramp out of the way. It works great on the truck too, I dont have to try and get around the ramp to get to the oil drain. That said you still have to be on your back to get to anything and the lift would be a help getting the impact driver on the blade bolts.
