'68 was 1st year of the high back seats. '64 used the 1200cc engine, '66 used the great 1300cc engine, '67 used the 1500cc engine.Not sure what this year one is.

Apparently it has a recall already on the rear seat as it's apparently wide enough to hold three people but only has two seatbelts. Why didn't VW make it a 3 person rear seat?
