Well, it was surely what they were going to do. When you have two choices ..one being a severe wound today ..or an assured slow death, most will choose to put the event off to the future. We've got many aspects to our lives that are unsustainable. From my observations I'm constantly stuck (by someone else) to a hard place when the boulders show up. I'm sorta in a "get used to it" mode. Wall St. was unsustainable too. $700B worth of make up oil to the sump ..and it still won't run

An illegal alien can make $10/hour under the table, which is equivalent to $14/hour before taxes and FICA. At least they could. I don't know if they can anymore, a lot of that type of day-laborer work has dried up here.
