One thing I've been wanting to do is go to France and do a WWI or WWII guided tour. That would be on my short list for international trips. I realize a female traveler buddy may be less interested.

Highly recommend. Normandy and Brittany are pretty awesome. You can do the history in the daytime and fine French wining and dining at night.

Look up French Bee airlines, they have cheap flights from NY to Paris Orly.

You live in Dallas, TX...how could you go to PA multiple times a day?
