Last Detail of the '89 Trooper

Should be gone tomorrow. Took some photos after a last detail and oil change.

Cleaned up the paint with some 3D Speed. Used Fram 15W-40 semi-syn and a Hastings LF542.

Would have looked like Swiss cheese here. Could also put your feet thru the floor to use as brakes.

I had a very similar Trooper. 5 speed with that outrageously long shifter handle. LOL and the big round headlights. It was very slow but other than that, I can't say too much negative about it other than it ate power steering pumps. It was during a very bad part of my life, but the Trooper had some good memories. When I see a Trooper of this vintage, it reminds me how bad my life was then and how good it is now.
 
My friend and his dad both had them. Saw a lot of abuse and help up pretty good.

My father-in-law bought one about 20 years ago, had it like a year and got totaled on corner of his block
