I had mine done 5 years ago and still see 20/15 in my right eye. My surgeon was one of just a handful doing the FDA approval for WaveFront eye mapping. Evidently it worked well enough to allow him to do a subtle mono vision enhancement for each eye. My right eye, being my dominant eye, was corrected for sharpness from armslength to (theoretically) infinity. My left was corrected for sharpness close-up out to about 300 feet. He did this to hold the need for reading glasses. Since I was 38 at the time and approaching the age where presbyopia would start to set in, I'd say it was a good call. The dual corrections compliment each other and there is seamless transition from close-up to long distance. Regular checks show no changes and everything is just fine. No dry-eye, no halos, and great night vision. I'm happy I did it and glad my surgeon was so attentive and innovative.

Had mine done last Feb. Still have dry eye problems and have gone back for the problem. They say it will get better. I use drops they provided me.
Even though I can't see as well as I would like I still preferr this over glasses. I do have to wear reading glasses.
Hopefully over time my eyes will tear on their own and I will have 20/20.

Any dry eye problems? I had my proceure done in 1999 and again in 2000 and still have dry eye problems today.

No, not yet, but I am still in the first week and doing the prescribed antibiotic, prednisone, and lubricant drops every 6 hours. I wore contacts for 25 years, and rarely had dry eye issues, even if I fell asleep with them in, so I'm hoping this will be good too. So far, no issues, and better vision than with contacts.
