Larger Capacity Oil Filter for 2002 Pathfinder?

Getting ready to do an oil change on a 2002 Nissan Pathfinder with a 3.5L V-6. Picked up a $5.00 jug (w. rebate) of 5w30 Pennzoil Platinum last night. After looking at the oil filter for it, it's is about the size of a Gerber baby food jar.

Is there anything larger or a preferred brand for these? I found Bosch at AutoZone for $6.99. No, I won't be using an orange Fram.

If you're interested in using an Mobil 1 filter you can call the tech line, I was given the number of the larger version of my OEM replacement. You should be able to cross reference that new number with any other brand.

There are some longer filters that will fit many Nissans. I dont have time right now to check, but perhaps a 7317. its a common nissan/honda filter that is fairly long. make sure that the threads and gasket are the same. you can get specs off purolator or napa

You've already got the bigger one from Wix. The other being the 51365, iirc.

There are a few bigger 20Mx1.5 thread filters that are longer and that have bigger diameters. If you can't handle a bigger diameter, you're pretty much using the big filter now.

That, I believe, is the filter he's already spec'd to use. It's a 31356 in WIX ...
