If it were mine I'd have no qualms about using Rotella T6 5w40.

That's what I was going to say.

Getting back to nuts-n-bolts, Rotella is as good or better than any 5w-40 outside maybe AMSoil.

Or Red Line 5W-40, which is what I would be using if I had one of these cars.

don't quite understand what you're trying to say, but whatever.

i drove the car around today, typical drive, was warmed up before we left. i paid attention to the oil guages.

idling around and loafing around on normal roads at under 3k rpms pressure seems to be pretty high.

the guage doesnt have many hash marks, but seems to be around 4-5 Bar jsut loafing around. on the highway or revved hgiher it seems to be steady at 6 Bar.

oil temp seems to be constant at 100 C. i think i got it up to 110 C for a little bit though. but again, the guages arent the easiest to read when you're driving fast.

i am not sure what oil is in there now. it was serviced at lambo dealer last. i'll have to check my receipt if i can find it.

I see a yellow and orange murcielago around pawtucket area of all dumps. Is one you and the other your bud? The orange one looks hot with the dark plastic overlays.

I agree with your logic and the 30wt RL choice (although it doesn't meet warranty requirements).
Except I'd choose RL 5W-30 over their 10W-30 for street use.
It still contains no VII's, has the same HTHS vis of 3.8 cP but has a much higher VI.

Warentee on a 16 year old vehicle? The thing has been out of warentee for more than a decade.

Sorry I just assumed for some reason the OP's Lambo was newish. I see the model year is 2002.

Thats what happens when you accomplish someting great in life and not working at a dirve thru window asking if they want to super size their value meal.

Nice cars.
