Kyle Busch

Tremendous talent. What he has done in the truck series, Nationwide series and Cup is remarkable and he is only 25. Sure he can be arrogant but he is at least entertaining. Just way too many plain vanilla drivers out there. Busch speaks his piece and is very articulate. His older brother is another story. Would have liked to see Kyle run F1. He would not take any guff from the European drivers. A rare, entertaining talent that would excel in any type of motorsports. His trifecta at Bristol was the highlight of the year.

OK, but Japan, Inc. is totally out of F1, so who would he drive for?

With all respect, it's a pretty big jump from Nascar to F1, and (IMO) a pretty easy fall back from F1 to Nascar (JPM;Scott Speed;Jacque V.)
A few more Nascar wins & I think he'd be ready to grab the wheel of a top F1 team's transporter. LOL.

Hmmm---how many NASCAR wins do these three ex-F1 drivers have, in total? Two? Doesn't sound like a very easy jump to me.

Maybe you should reconsider this statement. Both series are very difficult to be successful in. It's like comparing apples to oranges. As for Nascar, Kyle Busch is one of the top five drivers, but he would struggle in F1 as he never grew up in that type of racing. Likewise, the top F1 drivers would be less than competive in Nascar.

Seriously? You're comparing the skill levels of an F1 driver to a Nascar driver?
Probably the most obvious support for my statement is that:
1. Any Nascar driver would like to be in F1 and, if talented enough, would be seen on the circuit.
2. Check out the ages of drivers in the respective series and at what age top finishes (or even places on a team)have been secured.
I don't want to set off an emotionally-based argument here, but it's really like comparing fighter pilot to commercial airline pilot. As for former F1 drivers in Nascar, it only shows how short the window of opportunity for drivers in F1 is. Unless you're Michael S., you're out once your skills are no longer at ten tenths. In Nascar you're able to hang around well into middle age (as long as your PR campaign keeps them good old fans "lubbin ya."

Well, once again if the best F1 drivers came here and drove in Nascar they would not be competetive.

I'll state my final thoughts on the subject. Many Nascar drivers might, indeed be great drivers. Certainly Tony Stewart, Robby Gordon, Allmendinger, Sam Hornish and others have shown promise in open wheeled road-racing cars. My point is that the Nascar platform (the cars) can't showcase driver skills that approach F1 levels. As you know, current F1 cars test the driver to the limits. There is always "more car" if you're skilled enough to use it. The Nascar cars, IMO, can be mastered by literally any of the current series drivers.

He sure does. 5 wins in a row at Bristol (Truck, Naitonwide, and Cup)

That is true. I've been following NASCAR since '85 and I remember that very well. Other people said the same about Rusty Wallace as well.

Kyle Busch may develope into a mega star in NASCAR. Time will tell. Jeff Gordon payed KB a great compliment after winning at Phoenix. Another sweep at Bristol.

Please, send Kyle Busch to F1 so he can drive with the other talented brats. It would be interesting. I'm tired of hearing about him over here.
