Are you referring to the pic of the stick posted on 8/20, or a different stick?
Am I missing something here, I see a slight film-?
Yes the picture from 8/20. It was more than a slight film but oddly wasn't the coffee stained color of the varnish in the top end of the motor though it does appears to be the same thickness, if that makes sense. Since I cannot effective check the thickness of the varnish inside the motor I have to rely on my sight in an admittedly tough to access location. In the picture of the dipstick it looks all 1 color, but in person it was about 3 different shades. In the middle of the picture you can see where I scraped off the thickest area (on one side only) just to satisfy my own curiosity. I didn't expect the Kreen to work over night if at all but I have been happy with the results. Since I changed the oil last week I checked the oil once again to see how much it had burned so I could add the second dose of Kreen, but it had burned very little. I may have to drain a small amount of oil to add the second dose.
