Do you have the Kohler 7000 Series Engine?

I use 15w-40 in mine.

I use 10w30 HDEO in mine. I used up the last of my stash so the next change will likely be 15w40 HDEO.

I usually use 10w-30 in my Kohler Command but anything from 5w-30 to 15w-40 works great.

Rotella T6 in 5W-40, with a Fram 3600 / Wix 20195 sized filter if it will fit.

Same thing I use in the cars, which these days is Valvoline Restore and Protect 5W-30

Whatever is left over from BMW and Mercedes oil changes. I think my Kohler engine was made in China and really doesn't care much.

Good morning, no it's not the 1st oil change, I been using Penzoil in mine for years, and was just wondering what everyone else uses in there's ?.........I change mine usually before the first time I mow my grass, and change it the same the following year......

When you're pulling that much horse you need the finest oil you can buy..

Yeah, that's why LL-01 or MB229.5x for me. MB takes 9 qts, there's a qt left in one of the 5qt jugs for OPE. BMW takes 7 qts, leaves 1 qt to use in OPE and 2 qts to save for next BMW change. Then I also had an extra qt or two of HPL Euro. The little guys get treated good.

Same here..... after all my Kohler 33 hp takes only 2.7 quarts so why not?
