Kirkland 0W-20 VOA

Here's a VOA of Costco's Kirkland 0W-20. Wanted a baseline before my 1st UOA.

Someone did 2 uoa’s after 10k miles on Mobil 1 o-20 and the Kirkland 0-20. Same car and owner. The reports were very similar. Looked like the same oil. They were two consecutive oil changes.

This Kirkland oil looks like a good substitute for those who want to run 0w20 in vehicles calling for 0w16.

With a virgin TBN of only 6.3, it’s not going to be extended drain capable. Other than that it’s extremely blah, but it will get the job done for the certifications it carries, just nothing to write home about. Thanks for the VOA!

HPL No VII Euro 5w30 still had a TBN of 7.78 in my 3.5EB running 30% ethanol after almost 15k miles. Still blows my mind.
