I’ve been using DXA for a few years with good results but it always had this peculiar smell to it for the first 3-5k miles. I noticed that it doesn’t have that smell anymore, I can’t really explain it but it was sort of a foul smell that I was used to. Does anyone know if they blend has changed? I thought to call Kendall and ask just have not yet.
Kendall DXA 15w40 did it change?

That product is not impossible but not really readily available so I'm not certain there is a clear answer to your question. Everyone's "Smell" is going to be different so maybe it's just the change of seasons for you & a bit stuffy?

I know what you’re saying. People on here tend to follow blends and such so I thought maybe someone had input. I don’t think allergies are affecting it though lol, it’s a noticeable stench year round even after the oil change you will smell it from the breathing if the engine. It smells like no oil I’ve ever used. Not an issue with the smell just interesting it has changed
Are you familiar with the odor I’m talking about though. That’s strange that there is no change yet it doesn’t smell the same.
