Kelly Edge A/S

I had these on the 99 Accord coupe and was happy with wear and traction. They are a bit loud which I knew abt since the sales rep told me this upfront. Since he had them on his vehicle. I’d get them again.

i replaced oem conti with kelly edge on my 2013 passat at 42k miles. now at 92k, two are 5/32, two are 4/32, even wear. rotated by vw dealer at 10k with oil changes. door jam says 29psi, i ran the contis at 32psi, now kellys at 34 psi. the kellys offer 1-2 less mpg and less cornering grip than the contis. the kellys are a noticeable step down, especially in spirited driving or at highway speeds. bought the kellys at navy px for $320 installed, good price but lousy service. i chose kellys over another set of contis as i thought that i would sell off the passat by 80k miles, but it’s been too decent for me, so i will keep it longer. i’m kinda in market again for tires. given kelly parent goodyear’s financial support of blm, there is nothing compelling to me to continue with kellys or any goodyear product. i dont mix business with politics, unless it is forced on me. for $150 total more i can return to conti, which were definitely a better tire. as a midgrade replacement tire there is nothing bad (or great) about kelly. sorry that i can’t be of more help.

I've never seen good things about them. The shop I used to work at sold some sets when the first came out due to the low price. If you get your hands on one of the tires, you will find the casing is VERY flimsy on the Kellys. We also had quite a few sets only last about 15k for some drivers. We quickly stopped selling them. I personally think you would be better getting one of the better Chinese brands, like Milestar, over the Kellys if price is the driving factor.

We put them on most used cars needing tires. From my experience with them they balance well and are quiet but wear fast.

Jmlo96 is right about the sidewalls feeling flimsy as well. Just about every one of their passenger car tires are that way.

Are these tires any good? I get these for $66.
They came only my used 2015 Honda Pilot LX brand new. They have pretty mediocre rain grip and tend to hydroplane and spin when accelerated hard in wet. Noise level is decent on dry pavement.

They reinforce my mantra to buy well rated decent tires. I would put the General RT43 or a higher end tire on my vehicle next time around.
