Kawasaki engines in the maritimes

Hello people I just bought a new zero turn with a 23 up Kawasaki engine.. & was wondering about what oil to us in it...NOW..I have read the manual..but my BEEF IS i have 2 ride on mowers twin cylinders.. that I have used 5 W 30 CASTROL OIL.IN THEM BOTH..with well over 1300 hrs on them no issues at all..the coldest in the spring would be 10© to the hottest 75 © in the summer ..anybody out their using different oils other than what is specified.??

1300 Hours on your Mowers, keep doing what you are doing.

75C?? I thought it got hot down here in the lower 48! That’s 165F!
 
Wound up with a couple jugs of surplus Philips 25w60.. Well, it is aircooled. Just give it a minute or two to come up to temperature.
 
I have a mower with a Kawasaki FR691V 23 hp motor. It's gone 12 years with no problems. The manual for the engine shows this:

I've run 10w-30 in Georgia heat since I bought it.
