does anyone know an alternative transmission fluid that would work for a KAAZ LSD in a fwd transaxle? KAAZ asks that you use their LSD/transmission fluid if you install one of their clutch type LSD. The catch is that it is supposed to cost about $40 for around 2 quarts of it. Does anyone know anything about this oil? What would work as an alternative. I know some people who run turbocharged cars with KAAZ LSDs and change out their transmission oil every 5k miles. This adds up to alot of fluid costs. Here is a link to all the info I could find out about the fluid:

Since manual transmissions use gear oil, motor oil, ATF, and manual transmission fluids, I'd doubt that THEIR fluid is good for all applications.
I'd stick with the OEM recommended gear oil(preferably in synthetic).
Use any LSD additive if the LSD is overly grabby/chattery/noisey......

Hmmm. I wonder if anyone is willing to risk running another fluid instead of their fluid. But it does make sense that their fluid would not be good for all transaxles. Anyone else know anything? I couldn't find any tech info on their website
