Are the K&N HP series filters any good? AAP has a deal when you bundle PP and a K&N filter.

I think there are better oil filters.
They are better filters for better price such as Mobil 1 and PurONE or pur synthetic.

Yes the K&N HP series filters are good filters. IMO they are overpriced (unless you really need the nut on the end) but with the AAP deal they are basically free, so I would certainly not hesitate to use them.

+1 on K&N filters I used them in the past on my Evo's, used them for street and track and my used oil analysis came out clean as a whistle. To me that proves it to be a good filter. I would use them without hesitation.

Fine print on the AAP advetisement says "any filter up to $16.95". I choose two Mobil 1 filters yesterday instead of K&N on the PP deal and submitted online for $20 back.
Mobil 1 and K&N are the same except for the nut. I would go with a Pure One.

+1.....IMO....they are one and the same.
Both are great filters.....especially when you get them on sale at AAP.

I wouldn't buy one that isn't on sale. Overpriced, but good.
