Well does anyone know if teh ac delco filters are any good, I have a gm car that it came from teh factory with and was wondering if thats the best way to go for when I put in the schaffers oil. Also I saw a pf25 on my car last time I changed the oil but my friend says to use the pf45 since its bigger, can I do that... didnt know the 45 would work.

I'm running the K&N HP3002 on my 95 Formula, which is the direct cross reference to the PF1218. If you're going to use the AC Delco, I recommend the 1218 over the 25, or this new smaller filter that has supposedly replaced the PF25.

K&N uses a better media, a sturdier can with a much higher burst strength and it filters smaller particles while still flowing more oil than the AC Delco.

Are they really worth $11.65 plus tax???

thats not much considering its a once every 8 months thing but **** .

Considering the differences between the acdelco and k&n filters I would just stick with the acdelco filters. K&N isn't worth the extra 10 dollars.

yeah but the bosch premium probably flows just as good as the k&n as it has the same material inside anyway, it can't be that far off in flow rating. plus its 5.49, thats half the price of K&ns.
