If the item fell out of the system, it's the store's fault for not pulling the item. Once you found it, the store could have given it to you free or did a clearance sku number on the item and sold it to you @ the price posted on the shelf. (Once these filters were taken from you, they were either thrown down in the garbage OR some employee had there eyes on the product.) I would have had a nice conversation w/the MOD or the store manager. After that if the situation wasn't resolved to you satisfaction, a call to corporate and believe me, this is something store management does NOT want. ) I would have given the product to you gratis. Glad you went next door to Home Depot, Lowes' Corporate would love to hear that!
