My wife thinks I'm nuts for looking forward to the commute this morning on my new tires. I feel like its christmas. I finally got rid of the noisey Good for 1 year GT IIs and put on some Michelins.

Went from this tire:

To this tire:

Seems a LOT quieter and smoother ride......

Nice choice in the Michelins, but what kind of vehicle is this? 275/55TR20??? You went from a sporty car tire to a truck tire?

I had the GTII's before, in size 195/65/14 nonetheless. I put about 60K miles on them. They're pretty weak in performance department, but I never found them to be noisy.

Don't know anything about that particular Michelin tire apart from that it's probably overpriced for what it offers, as it the case with all the michelin tires.

But as Keith pointed out, why did you switch from a car tire to a truck tire? Just wondering...

And what kind of vehicle is it on? I am looking for some E rated 265/75-16 tires for my Crew Cab 2003 GMC Duramax, and have narrowed it down to 3 tires. This is one on my list.

Interesting, are these aftermarket rims? I don't think any Michelins are overpriced. Their quality and durability makes them worth twice the price.

Good choice on tires for your truck.
