Miller cycle engines are supercharged, they have to be to work. You go two years without an oil change on a KJ-ZEM Miller Cycle, you'll almost certainly have supercharger seal problems and excessive oil consumption.
The 2.3 Miller Cycle V6 certainly had it's problems, but it was the most reliable Miller Cycle automotive engine at that time
I'm pretty sure that is a 2.5 KL-DE though. Pretty tough little engines in MX6, 626, and Probes.
