Jury time deliberating good or bad?

He who has ears, let him hear!

Ultimately, I suppose, it is our responsibility to to determine the veracity of what we believe.

As Steve (and I) both stated in this thread, the onus is on you and, assuming you have the resources to cull out the garbage, it takes a lot of effort.

Most of us are unable, or unwilling, to do that.

No question on my part that MSNBC at least is total garbage. I used to work with a woman who liked to watch MSNBC and we always had the news on so we would not be surprised at anything that happened in the world. For example we had the news on when 9-11 took place and I reported what we were hearing on the news and we went to total lockdown and major security (governmental agency).

Anyway, it is the woman's choice about what to watch so I wound up having to watch MSNBC. If it had been up to me we would have watched Fox News. So I have experience watching MSNBC and I cannot think of a worse news organization. They are terrible. They are beyond belief. Now that I don't have to watch MSNBC I will never watch them again.

I get my news from Fox News, local channels for local news and for major events like forest fires in Colorado that are not covered by the national news organizations because Colorado is a 'fly over' state, and various internet sources and blogs. I meet various people from other countries and they tell me about sources of news in other countries where it is possible to get information not covered by American news organizations. For example, the Palestinian Christian guy told me about a source of news for the Middle East. My brother and his wife still travel constantly to other countries so I often get some interesting information from him. I have lost track of how many countries he has been in.

If you want to get accurate news, especially foreign news, you have to make a major effort.

I won't rate one "news" channel over another. The best descriptor I have read regarding any of the ones mentioned is that they are broadcasting entertainment based upon news. Now, I realize that is is pretty much impossible to avoid some slant, but some do go out of their way to present the news as they see it (who doesn't?).

The meat of what I am about to claim is substantial. If your only information on a topic is news from one of the aforementioned outlets you cannot make an informed decision. There, I said it. Flame away!

The question is which group OWNS most of the mass media, BOTH entertainment, AND supposed news outlets in the USA?

That group is less than 2% of the entire US population...care to guess which one it is.

Ariel Sharon:” We, the Jewish People, Control America, and The Americans Know it”

One of their prime strategies is to use "divide and conquer". You can see it occurring all the time.

I have no definite information on who owns the news media in the USA. I would suppose some big companies. It would be interesting to follow the money trail. It always is interesting to follow the money trail.

But it certainly would not be in Israel's interests what the major news media organizations in the USA are doing right now. So if Ariel Sharon actually said something like that their control is heading in the wrong direction. Because it appears that the typical big news media in the USA and the entertainment community are becoming increasingly anti-Israel.

Indeed, they will make a good tag team, and should be name "Lucky Justice".

While I do not agree with the verdict (should have been a manslaughter for 2-4 years, IMO). It is a stupid Florida law that let him walk and the stupid prosecution that lost the case. It is good that the jury take their time to think about the reason and what to tell the public when they present the case. The last thing you want is a mistrial and go through this thing all over again.

Let the civil lawsuit begin, I would imagine it would be nothing short of 1M and probably 2M max for the pain and suffering of TM's family, just like a typical car accident death these days.

They can find enough things to harass GZ with that would want to make him settle, and they likely will.

All it take is some neglect they found on GZ, and they can sue him about not following standard or typical watch procedure or the 911 dispatcher, or any delay in asking for medical help or failure to provide first aid, or unsafe handling of firearm, etc.

All it take is to drag the amount of defense effort up and it would mean GZ is better off settling the case than to see if the court would throw it out or wait for a hearing. Welcome to America.

At what point does this harassment of GZ become criminal harassment?

Sounds good.

I think that Zimmerman has supporters that will pick up the costs that he has been burdened with.
