Looks like we joined the club. Picked this up tonight. First one I’ve purchased, I inherited a original golden 39a and used dads shotgun on occasion. The old 39a has a burr and needs worked on. This will be my sons when he gets old enough in a couple years, he got annoyed quick with the old gun jamming. I’ll admit don’t remember much about firearms so need to work on that, family wasn’t big into it. Got a small range setup at the new property.. 10-25-50 yards.

I keep looking at these. Generally I like target 22 pistols but for some reason these little TX22's have gotten my attention. Maybe its the higher mag capacity or the fact it looks like it would be a good trainer in place of the 9mm as the target pistols dont share the same ergonomics or trigger feel. Make sure to post a review when you get some trigger time.

I just got my TX22 TORO model from the KY Gun Co deal last week. The gun with a Veridian reflex green dot, 3x16 round magazines and 2x22 round magazines. Great price. Can't wait to shoot it this coming Monday.

I have a first gen TX22 (before the Compact existed, etc). I like it but I think the barrel was messed up out of the box, getting keyholing after a mag or two.

I assume Taurus would take care of me if I called them...submitting a service request online basically makes it sound like I need to send the whole gun in.

For now my solution is a Ruger Mark IV that Im picking up tonight.

I have quite a few Rugers , you will find those pistols much more accurate than the topic gun

I picked up an original model a few year ago and my feelings are mixed. Mags are quite sensitive to how they are loaded and the trigger feel is just odd. Really have to focus on the squeeze, at least for me.

Feels good in the hand and is generally reliable after the mags got broken in.
