Jiffy Lube or Wal Mart

My local shop. $95 which isn't cheap but done 100% correctly by a master certified and once a year with my limited driving so I don't care it's more. How many years of saving $40-$50 would it take to pay for the cost of a JL/WM/wherever screw up?

High mileage oil change at WM for $45 here. They use QS HM full synthetic. Last 3 oil changes have gone there for the Camry and Corolla. Oil level was right on the full line each time and they cleaned the windshield real good too.

Hopefully it's cheaper than the new take 5 that recently opened in our

area.

I wouldnt trust either one. But at least with walmart you can pick oil and filter and u can shop. After it's done check your oil levels with the dipstick and for leaks

A very good price. Oil/filter is around $35, so twenty bucks for labor?
$35? 5qts from Costco and a $4 filter from Walmart is about $20. But for $58, I often take mine to the Toyota dealer and get Toyota oil, Toyota filter, car wash, and vacuum interior seats and floors. For $58 it's a steal and I can get a nice long walk in while they change it. I do my own here and there when I have time.

I think Kirkland full synthetic oil is still $33 per 2 5-quart jugs so it is under $20 per jug after taxes and a good Fram filter is under $15 after taxes so we’re looking at $35. I prefer to change it myself and neither my cars use all 5 quarts. Of course, the cost goes up if I take it to work and rent a bay, which may run $10 per hour as it was already $8 6 years ago. If I do rent a bay (tools access included) I would change oil and ATF or coolant and inspect the underbody very well.

I probably use the lift bay next week to put a coat of oil on bare metal parts in time for winter. The coolant could use a change as well.
