jeep jku gas pedal

I have a 2017 jeep wrangler ever since I bought it the gas pedal is very hard too push down compared too my other vehicles . Anyone else have this problem ?

You need to dig further. Is it a case of a cable binding or linkage not working smoothly or did someone add an extra spring?

Pretty sure this is “drive by wire” and the pedal is a transducer. So, you could replace the pedal for about $200, if you think it’s failing.

Have you got it new? Have you tried going to a Jeep dealership or other dealership that has a similar car and tested if it's the same or something is different about yours?

gotcha. i mean if you are willing to possibly throw away $125 you can change the entire pedal assembly: https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=3780345&cc=3436872&pt=5061&jsn=701

otherwise i'd say go find a dealer or used car lot and go "test drive" one and see if it's normal if something is wrong with yours.

I also found something about removing the smaller spring in the pedal assy .
