It needs to be refined for sure... Not a fan of this first design but I like the concept.

I think this is a car you pay MSRP or higher if you can get one, then dump it before the supply catches up. How long do you think a two or three year old manual trans Gladiator will spend on Kijiji/CL? Hours!

Scrambler would have been a perfect name because it would have been bringing back the name of the pickup-ish Jeep they made back in the 80s. Many Jeep fans pretty much assumed this new model would in fact bring back the Scrambler name.

A 2 door Unlimited with a half cab is a Scrambler!
I'm gonna buy one. I'll take the diesel if I can have it in stick, but I'll go gas if I can't. I won't have to pay a premium anyway, so only question will be if I want a first year model.

Interesting if it catches. Jeep is the hot SUV brand not sure if it will attract any pickup people or just niche audience.
It reminds me of that Hummer pickup they made. However this one has off-road creed not GM parts bin garbage.

That's the difference right there. One has an established reputation for pushing the boundaries of off-road capability, and the other had a reputation for looking goofy and being barely more capable than the Chevy pickup it was based on.
