I dislike the loss of the hood star on all the MB cars.

Soon enough MB is going to be pulling cues from a Hyundai Eqqus.

I prefer the grille star. Many thieves love the hood star. I also like the Flava Flav effect. It makes the car a little more aggressive looking.

I bought a new 325i E36 in 93, it was a leftover 92 without vanos.
I chose it over the 93 for this reason, plus it was fully loaded (rare in Germany at that time) and cheaper than a marginally equipped 93.

I kept it 13 yrs and only performed normal maintenance on it. Granted it was slower than some of the others but could still run 230Kmh all day and was quick enough with its manual gearbox, it was ultra reliable and drama free.

Let's say you're a child of the 1970s. You've got fond memories of your Camaro. But now there's gray in whatever's left of your hair and, four decades later, you're on the verge of your white-collar retirement. You want an aggressive car that recaptures that youth, but one that loses the ostentatious bravado. This is your car.

What Mercedes-Benz has done with the E63 AMG is lift the soul from a muscle car, place it into the body of a sedan, and ensconce it in German luxury and engineering.

But one warning: It's eye-catching enough to attract attention from the police and nearly spark an international incident. More on that later.

This car, which will run you somewhere in the range of $90,000 to $105,000, is about 100 hp more powerful than the new Chevy Corvette in its base form. Upgrade to the new Sport model, and you add even more power. It's perhaps the most stable car I've ever driven, hugging the road on curvy hillside roads, and fast. It comes with a race-start technology that makes hitting the gas feel like you're rocketing off on a Space Shuttle launch.

Driving around, you'll look like someone with deep pockets. Which may make you a target of austerity-struck police departments.

Or, you could be that child of the 70s ... Decide you don't want to spend that kind of $$$ and buy a super clean, gently used, twin-turbo v-12 that runs that hard...for less than a new Camry...

Just sayin'

Well I picked up a 14 E63 AMG S-Model, and I can tell you this, she's a beast. Just messing around with all season tires I did an 11.97 @118! That's pretty darn quick for a turnkey car!

Looks like he lasted 11 months under that username and had 1700 posts. Who knows he could have had some temporary bans under that name. Then the final ban hammer came reigning down.

Yeah first thing I noticed was it was a GHT post, was really curious what was gonna be posted in here lol.

Isn't somebody going to yell at Kleetus for replying to necro thread and that too a GHT thread :-)

But I blame this on the moderators. They missed locking this thread when they had the chance :-)

Well in the 4 years since it was posted, the price of them have come down. I think they still have airmatic and you should see the price of the front rotors in addition to all the other stuff.
