Jeep 4.0 oil and tick

Did a 6000miles oci yesterday. Switched out Agrol 0w30 PAO only SL oil to mix of 4 liters of Statoil 5w40 Full Synthetic and 1.5 liters of leftovers of the Agrol 0w30.
Guess what, no cold engine ticking! Recommended oil is any API 10w30 but I can hardly find 10w30 oil here, except SG dino.
Will not run 0w30 again. Maybe 5w30 semi synth.

I just put Pennzoil 5w30 conventional in my Wife's 4.0. It's as quiet as a church mouse.

my 4.0 really prefers 10W40 over anything thiner. Mine sure rattles allot with thin oil in it.

Yeah, I'm also considering a good bargain SJ 10w40 blend I found here. But next oci I will use a Castrol GTX7 5w40 I have.
