I bought a 1000 watt hour and 170 watt hr unit. I then added some battery storage to it and 2 100 watt solar panels. I also have a 1500 watt generator. Not including the generator the cost is about $3K the nice thing is the Jackery takes input from the batteries, solar and generator. So I have about 4 kwh of storage.
It feeds my house addition which is where we spend out time and the computer/entertainment system are there. The generator doesn't need to run except when the storage gets low. I like that the 4 KW is available instantly. Jackery makes high quality stuff.
