so to name a few here goes, from day one i took care of my paint. every summer i clay it keeping the paint clean. i always do three steps after cleaner, polish, wax. ive tried every over the counter brand i can think of from cheap brands to most expensive. from what i see online alls i can try now is something like a zaino, duragloss, theres a couple others out there ive seen. my main question is this, for me its all about the "WET LOOK" i just love that deep wet shine and reflection im obsessed. i noticed the better more expensive polish i used the better the result. so i dont have swirls or scratches. i dont have any surface contaminants and the cars paint has been well maintained even if winter. so where do i go to try and get a depper more wet shine is there anything i can try anyone in here ever been in my shoes after trying all the best local stuff like 3m, mothers reflections, ultimate maguiars, maguiars professional line then try something else and get even more shine? if so please help .

I have bought and test over 100 car waxes, polishes, and sealants. My suggestion is to keep trying stuff to find out what you like best.

A few of the products I have bought over the years are Zaino, Klasse, Blackfire, Wolfgang, Xzilion, Rejex, Duragloss, Glare, Finish First, Liquid Luster, Liquid Glass, Formula 113, Ultima, Poorboys, Collinite, Pinnacle, Zymol, Long Haul, P21S, S100, Einszett, Menzerna, Optimum...... that's all I can remember.

So, give all those a try, see what you think, and let us know your Top 10. Have fun!!

I have using Zaino since 2001 and haven't found anything i like better overall. The ease of use and wet look shine are superb. I have 5 cars, so i like a product that comes off easily and doesn't leave a lot of white residue to deal with and Zaino is great in that respect.
I also clay my cars every spring. Once you get that surface glass smooth, the shine really pops.

Also each product will work little differently on different car/paint/condition. I have personal experience with Meguiar's Mirror Glaze, Duragloss and Wet Paint Glaze and I like them all.

Search for pics of Blackfire Wet Diamond. There's some pretty amazing ones.

Of course Duragloss produces the "Wet Look". It says so right on the bottle.

I think your best bet is polish the paint with a DA polisher such as the Flex 3401.

The truth is, LSP products (i.e. sealants and waxes) have very little effect on the appearance of the paint. The preparation before applying a LSP will make all the difference in the world. Polishing with a moderate polish will level the clearcoat and bring out the best shine.

i can go get duragloss locally at my store how well does that compare to the others you have all posted so far zaino and that blackfire looked the best as far as videos nd pics go is duragloss in the same league?

I think you should polish your paint first, then worry about the sealant/wax later.

Polishing the paint is going to bring out the gloss. A sealant/wax will do very little in this area.

I will second the previous few replies. Meguiar M105 and M205 are your best bet for polishing. You can use them by hand although DA machine would make the job lot easier.

Also even though Duragloss names all their products as "polishes", they are all sealant and do not have ability to polish the paint.

Before polishing the paint, try claybar'ng the paint. It sounds more complicated than it actually is. As long as you follow the direction on the box, (and *never* drop the claybar and use the provided lube) you will have no problems.

Carwash -> Claybar -> Polish -> Sealant/Wax

Try this scheme on the half of your hood and be amazed at the results!
